Saturday at the ol’ RODEO BAR AND GRILL- NYC, from 10:30 sharp ‘til 1:30, with an on-stage pin-up gal contest, live music, free peanuts, and no cover. Our finalists dress there best and be judged by Megan Massacre of NY Ink , Andrea Grant’s MINX and Store owner of SlapBack a Retro Store in Brooklyn NY. If you’d like to be a part of the contest, please email Viva at vivaspinupscontest@gmail.com and include a few words about yourself, stage name or public name to post on FB, along with a single photo (candid, professional or whatever) that shows off your sparkling pin-up personality. You’ll need to be 21 or over and able to attend the Rodeo Bar show in New York City on May 11th at 10pm to enter into the contest. Deadline for entering is May 4th, after which Viva and her savvy panel of judges will invite ten entrants to join in the fun on stage at the Rodeo Bar (announced on FB), where the gal with the cutest, classic pin-up personality will win a boatload of nifty prizes!
The Grand Prize includes a personalized pin-up shoot with Viva Van Story (a $600 value, no less), including hair, makeup and styling – the results of which will appear in the winner’s very own feature in an upcoming edition of Retro Lovely Magazine!
